Paper manufacturing requires the use of large amounts of water.  Seaman Paper Company has made major investments to clean the river water before it is used and, again, before it is discharged back to the river.

Our on-site state-of-the-art Wastewater Treatment and Clarification Facility reduces total suspended solids and biochemical oxygen demand by over 99%.

Water “recycling” in our papermaking process has effectively reduced usage of fresh water by 22% since 2005
